It was sunny with a high of 16C and dropped down to minus 2
last night. It is suppose to get warmer in Longview starting today but of
course we are moving on. This seems to be the trend with us.
Today’s journey had us leaving Texas, going right through
Louisiana and stopping in Vicksburg, Mississippi at a Casino/Hotel and RV Park called
Ameristar. The Casino is across the street from the campground and sits right
on the Mississippi River.

| We got behind these trucks hauling sections of houses and they were going a little too slow for me so I changed lanes to pass. This guy wanted more than his lane and Cathy said she was going to close her eyes. I said she couldn't because my eyes are going to be closed. |

| At one point in Louisiana we reached 75 feet above sea level. |

The campground was about 25% full when we arrived at around
2:30 and by 6 it had filled up to 75%.
We had to separate our trailer from the coach to get into our
assigned site. This was ok as we parked it in a large parking lot also owned by
the campground across from our site for easy access.
