MORE WALKING

Nice and sunny today with a high of about 20C, it was great for walking. We checked out the Bellagio, Paris (La Vegas), Bally's, Flamingo, Caesars Palace, Harrah's and the Venetian. Plus Cathy did some shopping in the Caesars Palace.
Paris in the back ground.

In the Flamingo.

Caesar's Palace

Inside the Bellagio there was a garden environment with all kinds of real bulbs and flowers in bloom along with a greenhouse you could look into and watch all kinds of butterflies flying around and feeding.

Of course we saw the Flamingos, turtles, ducks and Koi in the outside area of the Flamingo.

Caesar’s Palace had an animated fountain show which involved Zeus and the creation of the Atlantis. For lunch we had a fondue in a small place in Caesar’s Palace

The Bellagio had this large chocolate fountain with milk chocolate, white chocolate and dark chocolate. See info. on display below.

We caught the Pirate show outside Treasure Island walking back to the campground.
Walking the gang plank.

Another day of walking tomorrow, if our legs and feet will continue to support us....

GETTING OUR EXERCISE

Yesterday’s weather was still under the effects of the cold front so was mainly cloudy and cool with a high of about 16C.

It was a good temperature for walking and that is just what we did. For exercise we decided to go everywhere by foot. We also thought it would be a good idea to check out all of the Hotels/Casinos on the Strip, taking our time and doing some people watching along the way.

Off we went in the morning with a plan of starting at the other end of the strip and working our way back to our northern location checking out both sides of the street along the way. So we started at Mandalay Bay moved onto the Luxor, New York/New York, MGM Grand, Monte Carlo and the last one of the day Aria which is a new one.

Along the way we saw the buskers dressed as Transformers, Batman, Joker, Mister T, Elvis, Micheal Jackson and of course Mickey and Minnie mouse. (many others)

Cathy was disappointed when we arrived at the MGM and found out the lion display is no longer there. She enjoyed them a lot the last time we were there. We timed it just right to see the fountain display in front of the Bellagio which was cool to see. We entered the M&M store with 4 floors of goods and was very crowed. It had all kinds of clothing, model cars and trucks and of course a wall with dispensers of all the different types of M&M available for purchase.

Interesting buildings both are built leaning

We then headed back to Circus Circus and had dinner, then to the coach to put our legs up where Cathy calculated we walked at least 10.28km or 6.4 miles.

More walking to do... (if able!)
