SHORT DRIVE THROUGH VICKSBURG

It was a very nice day today with a high of 21C, so we jumped on the bike and headed off to the Tourist Information Centre to see what the area had to offer. We found out the area had a big influence on the Civil War and will have to get back to you on this after we do some research.

A number of murals are located on the levee wall along the river.

Instead of looking into the past decided to just take a drive into the City and have a look around. The older section has a lot of old houses and churches, some of the main streets are very narrow and still have brick surfaces.

Then we went back to the campground and took it easy (happy hour).
