We had plans to go out today but it started off on the cool
side. By lunch it was 13C with a breeze and did finally reach 15 by late
afternoon. We could have worn our heated clothing and headed out but deep down
I think we really wanted to take it easy, so that is what we did. We were both
kind of tried due to the lack of sleep last night as it was quite windy and the
coach was making all kinds of noises. We did finally bring in the slides as the awnings were really flapping. A lot of people had told us that Texas
is windy and this must be the area they are referring to.
We spent some time
checking out the map, future weather forecasts to the east and potential
campgrounds. There seems to be a large cold front hitting the area to our east
which we are trying to miss and find the least affected area to wait it out. The other event we did was glue Cathy's pet Petrified Wood to a magnet so it can be put on the frig. door.
