It was cloudy today but the temperature reached a
comfortable 25C.
We headed for Havasu right after lunch which is about 45
miles to the south east of our campground in Arizona. We wanted to see the
famous bridge that came all the way from London which was known in history to
display the heads of traitors. Luckily the heads have long since been removed.

This bridge was bought in 1968 by an entrepreneur and founder
of Lake Havasu City, Robert McCulloch, for $2,460.00. The bridge blocks where
dismantled, then numbered and shipped over to Long Beach California and
trucked to Arizona. The reconstructed bridge was rededicated in 1971 with the
total cost being $5.1 million.The bridge has become Arizona's second biggest tourist attraction after the Grand Canyon.

We spent a nice afternoon looking around the area and
watching the boats, fisherman and people. We did stop to sample the ice cream
as well.
It was another nice day in the neighbourhood.
Not sure what’s on for tomorrow.
